Jonny Minshull-Beech is a director of An Independent View, and leads our writing team. He has spent the majority of his career working in financial services, starting as a currency broker for Ebury Partners, and then moving to work as an Investment Writer for Man Group, a FTSE 250 listed asset manager. There, he acted as a ghost writer for portfolio managers and senior executives, covering both quant and discretionary approaches and a wide range of asset classes. He was primarily responsible for Man’s flagship weekly publication “Views From the Floor”, alongside longer-form content. Since then, he has run An Independent View while pursuing a separate career in horse racing, where he has worked as pupil assistant to six-time champion trainer Nicky Henderson and multiple Classic winning trainer Andrew Balding.
